NJASK

The NJ ASK is a standardized test that is supposed to help kids. It helps them try to remember what they learned throughout the year and also test their memory. The NJ ASK was alright. For sixth grade there are only two subjects Enlgish and Math. Math is the easiest subject will english is like the fourth to easiest.

Math is my favorite subject so I enjoyed the last two days of math. It is easy to me because it is in my blood, ...I guess? That is what they say. I never really try in math and I still get good grades because I get it easily. I thought it was easier than anything in the whole test. For some reason though English just is not my thing.

English is not my least favorite subject but not close to my favorite. It was not as hard as I expected it to be. I figure there would be a lot of grammar and definitions like grammar quizzes. It turns out to be one of those just writing essays which is a little better and easier. I hope it did really well on both tests.

The NJ ASK was okay and easy. I think it was one of the easiest tests I have ever taken. The next year it will be harder but I will still survive on the test and try not to break my record.

Persuasive Writing: Quote Explaination

    Every single battle people force themselves to keep going. According to the Japanese, "Fall seven times, stand up eight." Everyone in the world cannot just give up every time they fail. You have to just keep trying and never give up by that no matter how many times you fall you are always up more. Many people have shown this quote.
     I know that MMA fighters get hit pretty hard and knocked down but they always get back up to try again and go for their goal. Also Musicians make mistakes on a really hard song but they just keep practicing until they get it. It is exactly like my solo, I could not play it but I started to get it when I started to practicing it. People are still giving up right away. This is effecting our entire community.
     This world is not very successful because people just quit the minute they fail. As a result people are losing their jobs, dying, and getting locked up because they are losing their jobs and going into criminal activities. At my elementary school, teachers there were quiting and giving up on their student saying that they failed. The world is not realizing this.
      If the world were to realize this situation we would be living a very successful time. As Abraham Lincoln said, " Persuade your neighbors to compromise whenever you can." People can tell their neighbors the Japenese quote. Maybe then our economy will advance, and have a very successful and prosperis life.
    

Should Schools allow kids to have cell phones?

A lot of kids at HHMS have been caught with a cell phone. Now the teachers are consfiscating them and having the the parents come and pick them up.I think HHMS should allow cell phones. If the kids will be allowed with cell phones they will be safer, they would enjoy school more and be able to text someone who is not there if there is an emergency.
    If cell phones are allowed kids will be safer. If a kid is in trouble at school with kids they can call someone like their parents. Also let kids text there parents they are on their way so they know they are on the bus. This will let the parents be worried free.
    Kids will enjoy school a lot more than usual. Kids will have fun being able to text any time they want during school. This will aslo make kids want to come to school more which will be an advatage for the princpal. Cell phones will be a good idea.
     It will also be for emergency. If a kid misses the bus the kid can call his/her parents. Also they might have gotten hurt they can tell someone to call their parent. Phones will help.
     Cell phones are a good idea. They are good for safety, emergency, and fun. Cell phones  are the best

Why should my Commercial be on TV?

Dear TV studio,
The reason why you should put my commercial on is because it will help people. It will help them by saving money on their delicious desserts. It will help us gain money because everyone is going to like it. #1-It is healthy, #2-It is 0 calories which is good for a person on a diet and #3-It tastes delicious. If you try it you will probably like it and hopefully you will let commercial be on TV and it might turn out to be a hit.

Ad Campaign

The AD that I liked  was  the Doritos commercial were the guy spilled his best friend's Grandpa that was creamated. Then he poured Doritos on the Grandpa and he came back to live and his friend didn't even notice so,he just went to his Grandpa and hugged him. I thought this commercial was funny because he made a grandpa that was dead come back to live with only Doritos and that is impossible. Also it is about Doritos which are my favorite chips. In a sort this was liked to make it funny and it was so now I might go and buy more Doritos.

College Essay (For Princeton University)

 After all of the people I have met in my life only three people have influenced me to do good in school. They are my Dad, my Stepmom and my Mom. They have influenced me because they tell me that to have a good life you need a good education. They have went to college that was ok. Now that I learned that they went to college I want to go to a really good college that serves a good education to have a satisfied life.
 They are all helpful. All of them or most of them are nice, all are honest, and really supportive. When ever it was a holiday and I made the toast I be sure to mention that and more. They all ways tell me that I am going to be the best adult in the world even though I don not know a lot of being an Adult.
I bet when they were kids they wondered about their future too. This has probably happened to them also and it keeps on going. I now am not smart enough to be the best Adult ever but I will some day. I feel that Princeton, Above all others, can guide me toward the life of greatness that wil make me either one of them of my town. 

My 2011 Resolution

With the start of every new year comes the opportunity for a fstart. The new year 2011 is going to be the best ever for me because this is the year I am going drastically improve myself! My resolution for this year is to focus a lot more on doing better in school. I was not proud of my grades for first marking period, because I know that I can do better. In order for this to happen, I will start to write all my homework down in my planner and I will do all of it immediately when I get home from school and not wait until the last minute. Hopefully I will keep this resolution which will result in my becoming a better student getting grades that will make my family and me proud.
