Is it better to be a Gift giver or a Gift receiver?

During the great holidays people always decide what they want for the holiday but the question is should I give a gift or let someone else give me a gift. Researshers show that if you give a gift it will show your thouhtfulness and your sinerity. Personalized gifts have become more popular. They are Unique, useful.meaningful, and are also time-stamped. Since personalized gifts are popular more people perfer giving gifts.
  Research shows that if you just receive a gift it shows that you are not very nice to people and show that you don't appreciate  others. If you just let people give you the gift and not give anything back they are not going to be pleased. Last year I gave my family something and they were very pleased so I would perfer them happy than mad.
